The Ullians are a humanoid race of telepaths. This telepathy makes them want to collect others memories and even gives them the ability to recover lost memories.

History Edit

Prior to the 21st century the Ullians were a violent species in which telepathic memory invasion was common. By the end of the 21st century they had become a peaceful race in which memory invasion was almost eliminated.

By 2368 they had embarked on an ambitious plan to build a library of memories from species across the United Federation of Planets and beyond. Several Ullians had been trained in telepathic memory retrieval, including Tarmin and Jev, and used this ability to reconstruct and collect peoples memories. One group of Ullians, including Tarmin and Jev, visited 11 planets in eight solar systems including Melina II, Nel III, and Hurada III, with Kaldra IV as a planned stop. Before they reached Kaldra IV Jev was found guilty of performing memory invasions on Deanna Troi and people on several of the planets they had visited.

Culture Edit

For the most part Ullians are gentle, honest, and friendly people with a great passion for their work. This passion pushes them but not to the point of stealing or lying to get the memories.

Anatomy & Physiology Edit

Ullians are close to humans in appearance except for hairless bulges on the sides of their heads which probably have something to do with their telepathic abilities.

They are also able to telepathically read most humanoid species, nbut other telepathic species such as Betazoids have a much harder time reading them.

They only appeared in one episode, and during that episode it was never stated if they were members of the Federation. Also, on one screen their name was spelled Ulian.
