The Spacing Guild is the organization that, by the year 10,191, had a monopoly on space travel through the Imperium. It is one leg of the political tripod of the Imperium.
The Guild is a secret society and after the Butlerian Jihad, was one of the two mental training schools set up, the other being the Bene Gesserit Sisterhood.
