Sandcrawlers are giant, slow, tank treaded vehicles that were once used for mining on the planet Tatooine and are now used by the planet's Jawas as homes and shops for selling any droid or piece of technology they find in the deserts. Sandcrawlers are not to be confused with Spice Harvesters, used to mine Melange on the desert planet of Arrakis, that were also called sandcrawlers.
