Over the decades of science fiction, thousands upon thousands of planets have been created for their stories. This is the ordered list of planets from science fiction movies, television, novels, and more.

These are planets that are not hostile in any way, or they may be able to suport life, and so on.

These are planets that are home to evil forces, or just uninhabitable, and so on.

[edit] Capital Planets

These are planets that are, or have been, the home to Emipres, Kingdoms, or any ruling bodies of any kind.

[edit] Sanctuary Planets

These are planets that are strictly peaceful, a location for anyone to hide, retire, and so on.

These are planets that have been or are made so that the entire planet is one prison.

[edit] Climate Planets

These are planets with one climate, where the entire planet is a desert, and iceland, an ocean, a forest, and so on.

[edit] Destroyed Planets

These were planets that existed but were destroyed either by nautral causes, or destroyed for a purpose, and so on.
