Lasaran in 2374
Glinn Lasaran was a Cardassian military officer and an informant for the Federation in 2374, during the Dominion War. After two months he became concerned that his Vorta advisor suspected what he was doing, and saw his last chance at escape in an assignment to the Dominion base on Soukara. Once he got the assignment he requested an extraction from the base by Starfleet, in exchange for information on the number and movements of Founders in the Alpha Quadrant.
Lieutenant Commanders Worf and Jadzia Dax were sent to retrieve him. On their way to the meeting point Dax was injured by a Jem’Hadar patrol, and Worf decided to turn back instead of allowing her to die from her wounds. Lasaran was killed while attempting to reenter the Soukara base.
