Martian Probes are perascopes used by the Martians to look outside of their Tripod Fighting Machines and without getting out. The Mor-Taxans also used probes on their Martian Warships. The probes are not equipped with weapons of any kind and are built to the specifications of the Martian eye.(The War of the Worlds)
