Lieutenant Commander Aaron Cavit was a Starfleet officer during the 24th century.
In 2358, he served aboard the USS Kingston, a colony-relief transport. While he was aboard the Kingston his captain was killed by Orions.
By 2371, he held the rank of lieutenant commander and had been assigned as first officer aboard the USS Voyager. During Voyager'</nowiki>s shakedown cruise a malfunction caused them to need aide from the USS Hood. Dina Voyskunsky, the Hood's first officer, had had a prior romantic relationship with Cavit which broke up in 2359. The two agreed to meet each other after their cooperative mission.
Cavit would die in 2371 when Voyager was pulled into the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker.
